Not Another Day of Kissing

In the annals of scripted kisses,
On-screen, open-mouth, intimate kisses,
Using all their skills,
Fine-tuned over time,
With husbands and lovers and wives and others,
Are two actors,
Strangers 'til now,
Who kiss like old lovers.
And isn't it trouble,
If the man in his mind says,
Wow, she is good.
And the lady in hers says,
Look what I've missed.
And they hold the kiss
A little bit after the director yells "cut".
